What is Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity?
It is a charity foundation which focuses on actions to help protect the health and well being of sick people especially helping children. It also promotes health prophylaxis.
The Finale is a crowning of year’s work where various cultural events, gigs and parties are taking place trying to rise as much as possible. Celebrities and bands are playing to try to attract as much donors to help with current goal. Last year GOCC has raised over 62 million polish zlotys (over £13.2 million) for specialist medical equipment.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation has been officially registered in Warsaw in March 1993. The founders are Jerzy Owsiak, Lidia Niedźwiedzka-Owsiak, Bohdan Maruszewski, Piotr Burczyński, Paweł Januszewicz, Walter Chełstowski, and Beata Bethke. The first Grand Finale fundraiser was held in January 1993 – at first, it was meant to be a one-off happening to raise money for cardiac surgery ward at the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Warsaw. The spectacular success of the first effort, which enabled the foundation to divide the money between all cardiology units treating children in Poland, inspired the establishment of the GOCC.

This year’s concerto is fundraising for equal access to healthcare for the newborns helping the children with medical equipment.
We strongly believe in the mission of Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and we support it as much as we can every year donating our time and money. Additionally this year, we’re donating an Elvis outfit for auction that was originally purchased in United states.
The event will be taking place in The Grand in London on 14/01/2018 and the first gig will kick off at 3PM. Admissions are absolutely free! You must be 18 or over.
